Ooty is the majestic queen of the Hills. The towering mountains with green cover by tea estates and vegetable fields are a sight . As you drive up through  roads, past the thrilling u-turns, the mesmarization  called “Ooty” begins. Or, you could have an completely  new experience and travel up the mountain in the Nilgiri Mountain Railway. As the train covers up the hill, you get a excellent  view of the scenic vista. As the train travels through the tunnels and passes through forests of eucalyptus trees, you get to enjoy the experience of a lifetime.. 

Ooty has been on the  top  list for summer vacation destination from the time of the British Raj. Yes, the british people  found the climate and landscape of the Nilgiri Mountain similar to their mother  land that they even made Ooty as their capital. After independence, Ooty began to develop as a major tourist destination, more so for those who were looking to escape the summer heat and still enjoy a holiday within their budget. March 15th to May 15th is On Season  in Ooty , Best time for family to visit Ooty, because  most of the schools in south will be on  holidays  and the climate in ooty  will be the  best  when measured to other south state.


Off season

June 1st to September 15thBest time for budget travelers, Get low cost accommodation and less crowded sightseeing places , but climate could be any time drizzling (Some time heavy rain).
